Housekeeping Trainer

We are looking for a Housekeeping Trainer to develop and deliver training programs for housekeeping staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and customer service. The ideal candidate should have experience in hospitality, housekeeping operations, and staff training to enhance efficiency and maintain quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct training programs on housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and safety protocols.
• Ensure all housekeeping staff are trained in hotel/organization standards, hygiene practices, and guest service.
• Train employees on proper use of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and sustainable cleaning methods.
• Monitor and evaluate staff performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Develop training manuals, SOPs, and assessment criteria to maintain consistency in service quality.
• Conduct on-the-job training and refresher courses for existing and new employees.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and innovations in housekeeping to enhance training programs.
• Work closely with housekeeping supervisors and management to identify training needs and implement improvements.
• Provide coaching on time management, communication skills, and customer interaction to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Housekeeping Operations, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in housekeeping operations and training, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and safety regulations.
• Experience in designing and delivering training programs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to motivate and mentor staff to improve performance.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Certification in hospitality training or housekeeping operations is a plus.
