Housekeeping - Team leader (Female)

The Housekeeping Team Leader (Female) is responsible for supervising housekeeping staff to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards are consistently met across guest rooms and public areas. Operating in a fast-paced hospitality environment within the UAE, this role requires a hands-on leader who can train, motivate, and monitor team performance while ensuring compliance with safety and cleanliness protocols. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills and a commitment to exceptional service quality.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising housekeeping attendants and ensuring assigned areas are cleaned and maintained according to company standards.

• Conducting daily room inspections and spot checks in guest areas to ensure high levels of cleanliness and presentation.

• Coordinating daily task assignments and ensuring effective shift coverage and performance tracking.

• Training new staff on cleaning procedures, equipment usage, and safety standards.

• Reporting maintenance issues and following up on corrective actions with engineering or relevant departments.

• Managing inventory and usage of housekeeping supplies, linen, and amenities.

• Ensuring adherence to UAE hygiene, safety, and hotel-specific operational policies.

• Handling guest requests or complaints promptly and ensuring issues are resolved to satisfaction.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; diploma in hospitality or housekeeping is a plus.

• 3–5 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel or facility, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity.

• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities, with a detail-oriented mindset.

• Familiarity with UAE hygiene and health regulations applicable to hospitality operations.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.

• Proficiency in basic English; additional language skills (e.g., Arabic, Hindi) are an advantage.

• Physically fit and capable of performing duties that may require standing, bending, and lifting.
