Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring that all rooms and common areas are kept clean and orderly. Responsibilities include coordinating cleaning schedules, inspecting rooms for cleanliness, training new team members, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed. The Team Leader will also assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment. The successful candidate must have proven experience in housekeeping, strong leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team. Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of housekeeping staff to ensure cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas.
  • Coordinate and schedule daily tasks for team members, including room cleaning, laundry service, and public area maintenance.
  • Train and onboard new team members, ensuring they understand cleaning procedures and company standards.
  • Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and submit orders as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public spaces to ensure cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Address and resolve any guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain communication with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Collaborate with maintenance staff to address any repairs or maintenance issues in guest rooms or public areas.
  • Conduct performance evaluations for team members and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to housekeeping operations.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in housekeeping or related field
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
