Home Care Registered Nurse (RN) - Male

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Male Registered Nurse (RN) for our Home Care position. As a Home Care RN, you will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. Your duties will include assessing patient needs, developing care plans, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of care. The ideal candidate will have a valid RN license, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to delivering personalized care to patients. Prior experience in home care or similar setting is preferred. Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to male patients in their homes, including assessment, medication administration, wound care, and other nursing interventions.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for each male patient, in collaboration with the healthcare team and the patient's family.
• Educate male patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
• Monitor and evaluate the patient's condition, progress, and response to treatment, and make necessary adjustments to the care plan.
• Coordinate with other healthcare providers, such as physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care for male patients.
• Advocate for male patients' needs and preferences, and ensure their rights and dignity are respected in all aspects of care.
• Provide emotional support and counseling to male patients and their families, especially during difficult times or when coping with chronic illnesses.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including documentation of assessments, interventions, and patient responses.
• Stay current with best practices in home care nursing, and participate in continuing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Adhere to all legal and ethical standards of nursing practice, and comply with relevant regulations and policies governing home care services.

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Registered Nurse in a home care setting.
• BLS certification.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with patients and their families.
