Heavy Driver

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Heavy Driver to operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently. The role involves transporting goods, materials, or passengers while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. The ideal candidate should have a valid UAE heavy vehicle driving license, a strong understanding of road safety, and the ability to handle long-haul and local deliveries. This position requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage schedules effectively.

Responsibilities:

• operate heavy vehicles, including trucks, trailers, or buses, in a safe and responsible manner

• ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods to assigned locations

• inspect and maintain the vehicle’s condition, reporting any issues or necessary repairs

• follow all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies

• load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials

• complete daily vehicle checklists and maintain accurate logs of trips and deliveries

• coordinate with the logistics and warehouse team to optimize routes and schedules

• assist in emergency vehicle maintenance, such as changing tires or minor repairs

• adhere to health and safety regulations, including wearing proper protective gear

• provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients and vendors

Requirements:

• valid uae heavy vehicle driving license

• minimum 3-5 years of experience as a heavy driver in the uae or gcc region

• good knowledge of uae roads, traffic rules, and transportation regulations

• ability to work long hours, including weekends and night shifts if required

• physical fitness to handle loading and unloading of goods

• basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues

• strong attention to detail and ability to follow delivery schedules

• good communication skills in english; knowledge of arabic or hindi is an advantage

• no history of major traffic violations or accidents
