Healthcare Billing Executive (IP)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Healthcare Billing Executive (IP) to manage inpatient billing processes, ensure accurate charge capture, and support timely insurance claim submission. Based in the UAE, this role ensures smooth financial transactions between patients, providers, and insurers in line with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review inpatient billing for accuracy and compliance with payer requirements

• Ensure timely and correct entry of procedures, room charges, pharmacy, and consumables

• Coordinate with medical coding teams to validate ICD/CPT codes for inpatient services

• Generate and submit insurance claims through e-claims portals (e.g., DHA, MOH, or Daman)

• Follow up on claim rejections, denials, and discrepancies to ensure revenue recovery

• Maintain updated records for patient accounts, approvals, and discharge summaries

• Communicate with physicians, nurses, and billing teams for clarifications or corrections

• Monitor claim turnaround timelines and escalate unresolved billing issues

• Ensure adherence to UAE health authority guidelines (DHA, DOH, MOH)

• Support audits and prepare billing reports and reconciliations as needed

  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Healthcare Administration, or related field

• 2–4 years of inpatient medical billing experience, preferably in UAE hospitals or healthcare groups

• Solid understanding of insurance processes, claim cycles, and DRG/ICD coding

• Familiarity with UAE e-claim platforms and payer systems (e.g., Neuron, NAS, Daman, Oman Insurance)

• Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle management and regulatory frameworks

• Proficiency in hospital billing software and MS Excel

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• High attention to detail and confidentiality in handling patient financial data

• Fluency in English required; Arabic is a plus

• UAE experience and knowledge of local healthcare regulations preferred
