Job Description: Head of Technology

The Head of Technology is responsible for overseeing the technological direction of the organization, ensuring that all IT strategies align with business objectives. This role involves managing technology teams, driving digital transformation, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and competitiveness. The Head of Technology collaborates with senior leadership to develop long-term strategies, optimize IT infrastructure, and ensure cybersecurity measures are in place. The ideal candidate has a strong background in IT management, leadership, and emerging technologies to drive business growth and sustainability.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the organization's technology strategy in alignment with business goals.

  • Oversee IT operations, software development, cybersecurity, and infrastructure management.

  • Lead and mentor technology teams to ensure high performance and continuous innovation.

  • Implement digital transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer experience.

  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to maintain a competitive advantage.

  • Collaborate with executives and department heads to identify technology needs and solutions.

  • Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and IT procurement processes.

  • Ensure data security, compliance, and disaster recovery protocols are in place.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, such as CTO or IT Director.

  • Strong understanding of software development, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.

  • Experience leading large technology teams and managing cross-functional projects.

  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic planning skills.

  • Strong communication and leadership abilities to drive collaboration across departments.

  • Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and digital transformation frameworks.

  • Ability to manage IT budgets and drive cost-effective technology solutions.

  • Experience with compliance standards, data privacy regulations, and risk management.

  • Passion for innovation and staying ahead of technological advancements.
