Head of Information Security

We are looking for a highly motivated, strategic thinking, and experienced individual to join our company as the Head of Information Security. This position will be responsible for developing and implementing security measures to protect our company's data, systems, and networks from cyber threats. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of leading a team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement information security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure the protection of our company's data, systems, and networks.

- Conduct regular security risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerable areas and develop strategies to mitigate risks.

- Lead and manage a team of information security professionals, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day activities.

- Monitor security logs and analyze security breaches to identify and resolve any issues.

- Stay updated on the latest security threats and trends, and implement necessary changes to keep our company's information security systems up-to-date.

- Develop and conduct security awareness training for employees to ensure they are knowledgeable about security threats and know how to prevent them.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for all information security-related issues and work closely with other departments to address any risks or incidents that may arise.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in information security management, preferably in a technology company.

- Professional security certifications (such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA) are highly desirable.

- Thorough understanding of security protocols, encryption methods, and the ability to deploy them effectively.

- Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.

- In-depth knowledge of security risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
