Job Description

The Head of Commercial Services is responsible for leading and developing the organization's commercial strategy, overseeing revenue generation, client relationship management, and business performance. This role involves managing contracts, partnerships, pricing models, and market development while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with UAE commercial regulations. Operating at a strategic level, the role requires strong leadership and the ability to drive growth through data-driven decision-making and market insight.


Responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion across all service lines.

  • Leading contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and key commercial agreements with clients, vendors, and partners.

  • Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to ensure commercial targets and KPIs are achieved.

  • Managing and mentoring the commercial team, ensuring high levels of performance, motivation, and accountability.

  • Identifying market opportunities, evaluating business risks, and implementing actions to secure competitive advantage.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as marketing, legal, operations, and finance to align strategic initiatives.

  • Monitoring and ensuring compliance with UAE commercial laws, licensing requirements, and industry regulations.

  • Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships to enhance the organization's brand and service reputation.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA is preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in commercial management, including 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven experience in strategic planning, business development, and financial oversight within the UAE market.

  • Strong understanding of local and international commercial practices, legal frameworks, and regulatory compliance.

  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Analytical mindset with a focus on performance metrics and ROI-driven strategies.

  • Proficiency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.

  • Experience in managing commercial operations across sectors such as retail, logistics, services, or government is a plus.
