Head of Business Applications

We are seeking a strategic and technically strong Head of Business Applications to lead the development, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-wide business systems across the UAE. The ideal candidate will drive digital transformation, align applications with business goals, and manage cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance of critical business solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of all business application initiatives.

• Collaborate with business leaders to understand system requirements and priorities.

• Ensure seamless integration of ERP, CRM, HR, and other core business platforms.

• Oversee application lifecycle management from selection through implementation.

• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate performance of external solution providers.

• Drive digital transformation and automation across business functions and departments.

• Monitor system performance and user experience to ensure operational efficiency.

• Establish governance policies for application security, access, and data management.

• Lead, mentor, and develop internal teams responsible for business application support.

• Ensure compliance with local data protection and technology regulations in UAE.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise applications leadership roles.

• Proven success in implementing ERP, CRM, and other enterprise-wide platforms.

• Strong understanding of business processes across multiple departments or sectors.

• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills required.

• Experience working with cloud-based platforms and system integration tools.

• Familiarity with UAE technology regulations, data laws, and compliance requirements.
