Job Description

As a Guest Relations and Reservations Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and managing guest reservations to ensure a positive experience for all clients. Your primary duties will include answering guest inquiries, processing reservation requests, and confirming bookings through various communication channels such as phone, email, and in person. You will also be required to anticipate guest needs and preferences to provide personalized recommendations and assistance. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments to coordinate special requests and resolve any guest complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a friendly demeanor are essential for success in this role.


Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Handle guest inquiries and provide accurate information about reservations, hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Assist guests with booking reservations, check-ins, and check-outs efficiently.
  • Maintain an organized record of guest reservations and ensure accuracy in all bookings.
  • Handle guest complaints and issues effectively, resolving them to the guest's satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure guest needs are met promptly.
  • Monitor room availability and make recommendations for maximizing occupancy.
  • Process payments and handle billing accurately.
  • Assist in creating and implementing guest service strategies to enhance overall guest experience.
  • Maintain positive relationships with guests to encourage repeat business and positive reviews.


Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proven experience in customer service and hospitality industry
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
