The Guest Arrival Expert serves as the first point of contact for guests, setting the tone for a memorable and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive. This role is critical in creating a strong first impression and ensuring a seamless check-in process. The Guest Arrival Expert handles guest inquiries, provides personalized service, and works closely with other departments to ensure all guest needs and expectations are met. A friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality are essential to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests with warmth and professionalism as they arrive at the property.
Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest information and billing.
Provide information about hotel amenities, services, local attractions, and transportation options.
Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure rooms are ready and guest requests are fulfilled.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and with a solution-focused attitude.
Maintain an organized and welcoming front desk area at all times.
Promote loyalty programs and upsell services or amenities to enhance the guest experience.
Assist with luggage handling or valet coordination as needed.
Ensure guest preferences are recorded and communicated to relevant departments for future stays.
Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and hospitality procedures.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality is a plus.
Previous experience in front office or guest service roles in the hospitality industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using hotel management systems.
Professional appearance and a customer-focused attitude.
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
