Job Description
The General Practitioner provides primary healthcare services to patients, diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions. They will perform physical examinations, order diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and offer preventive care. Additionally, they will consult with specialists when necessary and educate patients on maintaining their health and preventing illness.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations of patients.
- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments.
- Provide preventive care, including vaccinations and health screenings.
- Consult with specialists and refer patients as needed.
- Monitor patients' medical progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Educate patients on proper health management and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest medical research and best practices.
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Current valid medical license.
- Residency training in general practice or family medicine.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a General Practitioner.
- In-depth knowledge of medical conditions, treatments, and procedures.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients.
