Job Description
As a General Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing primary healthcare services to patients of all ages. Your role will involve diagnosing and treating common illnesses, conducting routine check-ups, and referring patients to specialists when necessary. You will also need to emphasize preventive care and educate patients on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough medical consultations and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and treat common illnesses, injuries, and chronic conditions.
- Prescribe appropriate medication and provide necessary follow-ups.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and screenings.
- Provide counseling on lifestyle modifications, nutrition, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with specialists for further evaluation and treatment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Stay updated with medical advancements and guidelines.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or equivalent).
- Valid medical license to practice as a general practitioner.
- Completed residency training in general practice or family medicine.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
