Job Description
The General Manager - Furniture Showroom is responsible for overseeing the operations of the furniture showroom. This includes managing the sales team, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth. The General Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop marketing strategies, optimize showroom layouts, and maintain inventory levels.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive showroom traffic and sales.
- Manage the sales team and provide coaching and guidance.
- Monitor and report on sales performance and implement initiatives to achieve targets.
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve any customer complaints or issues.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns.
- Optimize showroom layouts to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Manage inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure product availability.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitors' activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a furniture showroom.
- Strong sales and customer service skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
