General Accountant

The General Accountant is responsible for performing various accounting tasks, including financial analysis, reconciliations, and preparing financial reports. This role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The General Accountant must have excellent analytical skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts.
• Assist with audits and tax filings.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial records.
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports for management.
• Provide support to other departments regarding financial matters.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
