FSTD Support Engineer I

The FSTD Support Engineer I is responsible for providing technical support for Full Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTDs). They diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, upgrade software, and ensure optimal performance of the simulators.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on FSTDs.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions and interface issues.
• Install, configure, and upgrade simulator software and databases.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for simulator modifications and enhancements.
• Monitor simulator performance and conduct performance testing.
• Train simulator operators on equipment usage and troubleshooting.
• Document and maintain technical manuals and procedures.
• Provide technical support to customers and respond to their inquiries.

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Knowledge of flight simulator systems and avionics.
• Experience with troubleshooting complex electronic and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ or Java.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
