Job Description

The Front Desk Representative is responsible for providing excellent customer service by greeting visitors, answering inquiries, managing appointments, and maintaining the reception area. Acting as the first point of contact for clients, guests, and staff, the role ensures a smooth and professional experience from entry to departure. The position requires strong communication skills, multitasking abilities, and a customer-centric approach, while adhering to UAE hospitality standards and corporate policies.


Responsibilities:

  • Greeting visitors and clients in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression.

  • Managing phone calls, emails, and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate department or individual.

  • Scheduling and coordinating appointments, meetings, and room bookings as required.

  • Maintaining the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.

  • Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, document handling, and data entry.

  • Managing visitor logs, including issuing visitor badges and ensuring security protocols are followed.

  • Coordinating with security and other departments to ensure smooth building operations.

  • Handling basic requests from employees and visitors, ensuring high levels of customer service and satisfaction.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or office administration is a plus.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or front desk role, preferably in the UAE or GCC region.

  • Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

  • Professional appearance and demeanor with the ability to handle various customer service situations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic office management software.

  • Knowledge of UAE hospitality standards and customer service etiquette is a plus.
