Job Description

The Freight Sales Executive - B2B is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth in the freight and logistics sector. This role requires a deep understanding of supply chain solutions, excellent negotiation skills, and a proactive approach to meeting client needs. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in B2B sales, preferably within freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics.


Responsibilities:

  • Identify and acquire new B2B clients within the freight and logistics industry.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.

  • Build strong relationships with corporate clients to ensure long-term business partnerships.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to customize freight solutions based on client needs.

  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts to prospective clients.

  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • Monitor and track sales performance, providing reports and updates to management.

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problem resolution.

  • Stay updated on industry regulations, shipping laws, and logistics advancements.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales within the freight, logistics, or shipping industry.

  • Strong understanding of international and domestic freight forwarding, customs regulations, and supply chain processes.

  • Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and build long-term client relationships.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.

  • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.

  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
