Forklift Operator

We are currently seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role include operating a forklift to transport materials within a warehouse or distribution center, loading and unloading goods from vehicles, and moving items to designated areas. The ideal candidate should have a valid forklift certification and a strong understanding of safety protocols. Attention to detail, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for this position. The Forklift Operator will also be responsible for routine maintenance of the forklift and ensuring that all operations are conducted in compliance with company policies and procedures. Responsibilities

• Safely operating a forklift to move materials and products within a warehouse or manufacturing facility
• Loading and unloading goods from trucks, pallets, and storage areas
• Inspecting and maintaining the forklift equipment to ensure proper functionality
• Following safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
• Organizing and maintaining inventory in an efficient and orderly manner
• Communicating with team members to coordinate the movement of materials
• Keeping accurate records of inventory transactions and shipments
• Adhering to all company policies and regulations related to forklift operation
• Assisting in other warehouse duties such as packing, labeling, and shipping when needed
• Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors promptly

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid forklift certification or license
• Minimum of 1 year experience operating a forklift
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to safety protocols and procedures
