Food Safety Officer

We are looking for a qualified Food Safety Officer to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards throughout our operations. The ideal candidate will oversee inspections, implement corrective actions, and train staff in food safety practices. This role is critical for maintaining high standards and regulatory compliance in food handling, preparation, and storage.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor food safety and hygiene compliance across all departments.

• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments.

• Develop and implement food safety policies and procedures.

• Investigate incidents of non-compliance and take corrective action.

• Provide training and guidance to staff on food safety practices.

• Ensure compliance with local food safety laws and international standards.

• Maintain accurate documentation and audit records.

• Coordinate with health authorities during inspections.

• Evaluate supplier food safety systems and certifications.

• Review and update HACCP and hygiene programs regularly.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in food safety or quality assurance.

• Certification in HACCP, ISO 22000, or equivalent is mandatory.

• In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations in the UAE.

• Strong attention to detail and risk assessment skills.

• Good communication and training skills.

• Ability to lead audits and liaise with regulatory authorities.
