Food and Beverage Supervisor

The Food and Beverage Supervisor will oversee daily operations within restaurants, cafés, or hotel dining outlets, ensuring excellent customer service, quality standards, and staff performance. This role includes supervising front-of-house activities, coordinating with kitchen teams, and maintaining compliance with UAE food safety and hygiene regulations. The supervisor will play a vital role in enhancing guest satisfaction, optimizing workflow, and training service staff in accordance with brand and hospitality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising and coordinating the activities of service staff to ensure efficient and courteous service at all times.

• Monitoring dining areas and guest interactions to maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and customer satisfaction.

• Assisting in staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluation to support team development and service excellence.

• Addressing customer complaints and resolving issues promptly to maintain a positive dining experience.

• Ensuring compliance with UAE food safety, HACCP, and hygiene regulations across all F&B service areas.

• Collaborating with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth communication, timely service, and quality control.

• Monitoring inventory levels, placing orders for supplies, and reducing waste through efficient stock management.

• Supporting the implementation of promotions, events, and seasonal menus in line with brand strategy.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in F&B operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within the UAE.

• Strong knowledge of UAE food safety standards (Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority, etc.).

• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams in fast-paced environments.

• Familiarity with POS systems, basic budgeting, and stock control procedures.

• High attention to detail, customer service orientation, and a proactive problem-solving approach.

• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus in multicultural settings.

• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as per operational needs.
