Job Description
Job Summary:
We Aram Building Contracting LLC is currently seeking a skilled Finishing Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 3 to 5 years' experience in performing a variety of finishing carpentry tasks to complete the final details of construction projects. The Finishing Carpenter will be responsible for ensuring that the finishing touches meet high-quality standards and specifications, enhancing the overall aesthetics and functionality of the project.
Responsibilities:
- Install trims, baseboards, crown molding, window and door casings, and other finishing materials
- Perform woodwork repairs and touch-ups as needed
- Install cabinetry, shelving, and other custom woodwork
- Apply finishes such as varnish, stain, or paint to wood surfaces
- Inspect and ensure the quality of finished work meets project requirements
- Work collaboratively with other contractors, designers, and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow established safety regulations and procedures
Requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Finishing Carpenter or similar role
- Knowledge of different types of wood materials and finishing techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Physical strength and stamina to handle the demands of the job
