Financial Controller - Middle East

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team in the Middle East. As the Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of our company and ensure our financial stability and growth in the region.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee and manage all financial activities of the company in the Middle East region

- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards

- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports

- Conduct regular financial forecasting and budgeting to support strategic business decisions

- Monitor cash flow, manage accounts payable and receivable, and maintain proper financial records

- Coordinate and communicate with local banks, auditors, and tax authorities

- Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives to optimize financial performance

- Provide financial guidance and support to senior management in decision making processes

- Identify and mitigate financial risks and maintain internal controls

- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA certification is a plus.

- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Middle East region

- Strong knowledge of local financial regulations and accounting principles

- Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and budgeting

- Excellent command of financial software and Microsoft Office applications

- Experience with ERP systems required, SAP is a plus

- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders

- Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing a team

- Fluent in English, Arabic language skills a plus
