Financial Analyst

The Financial Analyst plays a critical role in supporting business decision-making through detailed financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting. This position requires strong analytical thinking, data interpretation, and business acumen to assess financial health and recommend actionable strategies. Working closely with finance and cross-functional teams, the analyst ensures accurate financial planning and compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting to support business planning and strategic initiatives.

• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance and trend analysis.

• Assisting in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and cost control strategies.

• Analyzing financial performance indicators and providing insights on revenue, expenses, and profitability.

• Supporting investment evaluations, feasibility studies, and pricing strategies.

• Collaborating with accounting and operations teams to ensure financial data accuracy and consistency.

• Presenting key financial findings and recommendations to management for informed decision-making.

• Monitoring market trends, economic indicators, and industry benchmarks.

• Ensuring compliance with UAE financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance policies.

• Participating in the development of financial tools, dashboards, and automation initiatives.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CFA or CPA certification is a plus.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, preferably within the UAE.

• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software such as SAP, Oracle, or Power BI.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Strong communication and presentation abilities to convey financial insights clearly.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations and IFRS compliance.

• High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling financial data.
