Finance Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support day-to-day accounting operations in our UAE office. The role focuses on managing invoices, expense tracking, and financial reporting to ensure accurate and timely financial processing.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.

• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and reports.

• Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts.

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.

• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.

• Monitor petty cash and expense claims.

• Prepare payment vouchers and assist with payroll support.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and VAT regulations.

• Liaise with vendors and internal departments for billing issues.

• Assist with audits and financial year-end processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.

• 2–3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.

• Strong numerical and organizational skills.

• Attention to detail and confidentiality in handling financial data.

• Knowledge of UAE VAT rules and financial regulations.

• Good communication and time management abilities.
