Facility Supervisor

The Facility Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of buildings, equipment, and infrastructure across assigned facilities. This role ensures that facilities are well-maintained, compliant with health and safety regulations, and operating efficiently. The supervisor coordinates with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to manage maintenance schedules, inspections, and repairs in line with UAE regulatory standards and company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising day-to-day facility operations including maintenance, cleaning, security, and utilities management.

• Coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.

• Conducting regular inspections to assess facility conditions and ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards.

• Managing facility-related service contracts, including negotiation, execution, and performance monitoring of vendors.

• Responding promptly to emergency repair needs and overseeing resolution in a timely and cost-effective manner.

• Monitoring energy usage and implementing efficiency improvements where applicable.

• Maintaining accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, budgets, and service logs.

• Ensuring adherence to UAE civil defense, municipality, and workplace safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 4–6 years of experience in facility supervision, preferably within the UAE or GCC region.

• Strong knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and civil infrastructure.

• Familiarity with CAFM systems and maintenance scheduling tools.

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple contractors and tasks.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.

• Good understanding of UAE safety standards, labor regulations, and building codes.
