Job Description

The Events Planning Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of event planning and execution, ensuring the successful delivery of a wide range of events from corporate meetings to large-scale conferences. This role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to establish event objectives, budgets, and timelines, as well as managing event logistics, vendors, and on-site coordination. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event planning, excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. A keen attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset are essential for success in this role. Additionally, strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to liaise with clients, team members, and external partners. A minimum of 3 years of experience in events planning or related field is preferred, along with a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, marketing, or a related discipline.


Responsibilities

  • Plan and oversee all aspects of events from conception to execution.
  • Develop event concepts, themes, and timelines that align with company objectives.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure successful event logistics.
  • Manage event budgets, expenses, and financial reporting.
  • Negotiate contracts with venues, suppliers, and other event partners.
  • Implement marketing strategies to promote events and drive attendance.
  • Monitor and evaluate event performance for future improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, health, and safety obligations during events.
  • Lead a team of event staff and volunteers to execute events seamlessly.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in event planning and management.
  • Bachelor's degree in event management, marketing, hospitality, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in event planning and management, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and collaborate with a team.
  • Proficiency in event planning software and tools, such as Cvent, Eventbrite, or similar platforms.
