Estimator (fit-out)

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Estimator specializing in fit-out projects to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for fit-out projects, including material and labor costs, based on project plans and specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, particularly within the fit-out sector, and possess excellent analytical and mathematical skills. The Estimator will collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely completion of projects. Additionally, the Estimator will be responsible for conducting thorough cost analysis and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of market trends and pricing. Successful candidates will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality estimates on schedule and within budget. A degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred, along with proficiency in estimating software and tools. Responsibilities

• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate material and labor cost estimates for fit-out projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop detailed cost estimates.
• Research and source pricing for materials, subcontractors, and labor to ensure competitive and cost-effective estimates.
• Prepare and submit detailed bid proposals, including cost breakdowns and project timelines.
• Review and analyze change orders and provide cost impact assessments.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, costs, and project information for tracking and reporting purposes.
• Stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and market conditions to adjust estimates accordingly.
• Attend site visits and meetings to assess project scope and requirements accurately.
• Work closely with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and secure project materials and services.
• Update project cost estimates based on changes in scope, design, or project requirements as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• Proven experience working as an Estimator in fit-out projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and materials.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
