Job Description

As our Employee Relations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and improving the employee-employer relationship within our organization. You will play a critical role in maintaining a positive work environment, fostering healthy relationships between employees and management, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.


Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and maintain effective employee relations strategies and programs to enhance employee engagement and retention.

- Serve as the main point of contact for all employee relations inquiries, concerns, and grievances.

- Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and grievances, ensuring confidentiality and impartiality.

- Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors on employee relations matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.

- Identify and address potential employee relations issues proactively, providing solutions and recommendations to mitigate future problems.

- Conduct regular training for employees and management on company policies, procedures, and best practices in employee relations.

- Partner with HR team members to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to employment and labor relations.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement employee engagement initiatives and programs.

- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in employee relations and make recommendations to improve our internal processes.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in employee relations, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.

- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.

- Ability to maintain objectivity, be impartial, and offer practical solutions in difficult situations.

- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

- Strong project management and time management skills.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
