Job Description

The ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV systems on construction projects. This includes systems such as telecommunications, security, audiovisual, and fire alarm systems. The engineer will work closely with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure that the systems meet project requirements and industry standards.


Responsibilities

  • Designing ELV systems based on project requirements
  • Coordinating with clients, architects, and contractors
  • Overseeing installation and testing of systems
  • Ensuring systems meet industry standards and client expectations
  • Providing technical support during project execution
  • Reviewing and approving project documentation


Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in ELV systems design and installation
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • PMP or other relevant certifications are a plus
