Job Description
The Electrical Supervisor will oversee electrical maintenance activities and supervise a team of electricians. The role requires a knowledgeable and experienced individual with strong leadership abilities. The Electrical Supervisor will collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and operations, to ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of electricians and ensure that all work is performed safely and efficiently.
- Schedule and assign tasks to electricians based on priorities and deadlines.
- Inspect and maintain electrical systems and equipment to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective resolutions.
- Monitor the performance of electrical systems and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Collaborate with other departments to support the installation and commissioning of new electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities.
- Train and mentor electricians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Stay informed about advancements in electrical technology and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as an electrical supervisor or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
