Editorial Lead

We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Editorial Lead to oversee the creation, quality, and consistency of all written content across our platforms. Based in the UAE, the ideal candidate will drive the editorial tone, manage a team of writers, and ensure alignment with brand voice and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the editorial strategy and manage content planning across digital, print, and branded platforms

• Supervise and mentor in-house writers, editors, and freelancers to ensure quality output

• Review and edit content for clarity, grammar, brand alignment, and factual accuracy

• Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to align messaging across campaigns

• Establish editorial guidelines, tone of voice, and quality benchmarks

• Oversee publication timelines and ensure content is delivered on schedule

• Conduct research and guide ideation for compelling and relevant content

• Analyze content performance using SEO and analytics tools to guide strategy

• Maintain consistency in messaging across markets, especially for multilingual or localized content

• Stay updated on trends in digital publishing, content marketing, and audience engagement

  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field

• 5–7 years of editorial experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior editing role

• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across various formats

• Deep understanding of audience-centric content, SEO principles, and digital trends

• Experience managing editorial calendars, writers, and cross-functional workflows

• Familiarity with CMS platforms and content project management tools

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills

• Proficiency in English is a must; Arabic language skills are an advantage

• Previous experience in the UAE or GCC region preferred
