Job Description

As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a department or business unit. You will manage staff, ensure customer satisfaction, and handle any issues that may arise during your shift. Duties may include creating employee schedules, providing training and guidance to staff, monitoring inventory levels, and implementing company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate should have excellent leadership and communication skills, be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong understanding of customer service principles. Additionally, you must be able to make quick decisions and resolve conflicts effectively. A proven track record in a managerial role is typically required for this position.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the facility.
  • Supervise staff members and provide guidance as needed.
  • Ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained.
  • Handle customer complaints and issues effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility.
  • Implement and enforce safety and security protocols.
  • Manage inventory and stock levels of supplies.
  • Assist in staff scheduling and performance evaluations.
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents as they arise.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, customer service, and hotel management practices.
