Job Description

As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for managing and organizing company documents while ensuring their accuracy, quality, and integrity. Your duties will include categorizing files, maintaining document control procedures, and managing documentation revisions. You will work closely with various teams to ensure all documents are up to date and stored correctly for easy access. Additionally, you will be in charge of tracking document distribution and handling confidential information with the utmost discretion. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure. A background in document management or administration is preferred for this role.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage electronic and hard copy document control systems
  • Ensure all documents are organized, indexed, and stored properly
  • Monitor and track document changes and revisions
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure documents are accurate and up-to-date
  • Manage the distribution of documents to relevant stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to document control
  • Assist in the development of document control procedures and guidelines
  • Respond to internal and external document control queries in a timely manner
  • Perform regular audits of document control processes to ensure effectiveness
  • Provide training and support to staff members on document control practices
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, information management, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Prior experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
