Dentist

The Dentist is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and advising patients on oral health and dental care in a clinical setting. This role involves performing routine and specialized procedures while ensuring a high standard of patient care and compliance with UAE healthcare regulations. Working in a collaborative environment with dental assistants and other healthcare professionals, the dentist contributes to both preventive and corrective dental treatments tailored to patient needs.

Responsibilities:

• Examining patients’ teeth, gums, and oral tissues using diagnostic tools such as X-rays and clinical assessments.

• Diagnosing oral health conditions and developing individualized treatment plans.

• Performing dental procedures including fillings, crowns, extractions, root canals, and preventive care.

• Educating patients on oral hygiene practices, dietary recommendations, and post-treatment care.

• Collaborating with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient patient care and smooth clinic operations.

• Referring patients to specialists when necessary for advanced treatments.

• Maintaining accurate patient records, treatment notes, and follow-up schedules.

• Ensuring strict adherence to infection control protocols and patient safety standards.

• Staying up to date with advancements in dental technology, procedures, and regulatory guidelines in the UAE.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry (BDS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.

• Valid license to practice as a Dentist in the UAE .

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in general dentistry within a clinical or hospital setting.

• Proficiency in a wide range of dental procedures and modern dental technologies.

• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and ensure comfort.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented healthcare environment.

• Excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and decision-making abilities.
