Demand Planner - Maternity Cover

We are seeking a skilled Demand Planner to join our team for a Maternity Cover position. As a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate forecasting models to optimize inventory levels and meet customer demand. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts to support inventory planning and production scheduling.
• Analyze historical sales data and market trends to accurately predict future demand patterns.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to gather insights and inputs for demand forecasting.
• Monitor inventory levels and sales performance to identify potential risks or opportunities to adjust demand plans.
• Drive cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on demand projections and inventory optimization strategies.
• Continuously improve forecasting accuracy by incorporating new data sources and refining forecasting models.
• Lead regular demand planning meetings to review forecast accuracy, update assumptions, and adjust plans as needed.
• Work closely with suppliers to communicate demand requirements and coordinate order replenishment schedules.
• Track and report key performance indicators related to demand forecasting, inventory management, and customer service levels.
• Stay current on industry best practices and technology solutions to enhance demand planning processes and tools.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in demand planning or related field.
• Proficiency in using demand planning software and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
