Job Description

The Customer Service Executive in the logistics sector plays a vital role in ensuring smooth coordination between clients, operations, and logistics teams. This role focuses on providing prompt and effective support to customers, resolving shipment-related concerns, and ensuring accurate communication and documentation throughout the logistics cycle. The ideal candidate is expected to be well-versed in handling logistics documentation, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with clients to provide timely updates on shipment statuses and delivery timelines

  • Handle inquiries related to logistics processes, ensuring a helpful and professional response

  • Collaborate with internal departments to address customer requirements and ensure timely fulfillment

  • Prepare and manage logistics documentation including invoices, bills of lading, and shipping records

  • Track shipments and proactively resolve any delays, errors, or concerns reported by customers

  • Ensure service levels are maintained in line with company policies and client expectations

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, complaints, and actions taken

  • Support the logistics team in scheduling deliveries and pickups according to operational priorities


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Proven experience in a logistics or customer service role, preferably within a logistics company

  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for effective client interactions

  • Knowledge of logistics software and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment

  • Attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer satisfaction
