The Customer Service Executive in the logistics sector plays a vital role in ensuring smooth coordination between clients, operations, and logistics teams. This role focuses on providing prompt and effective support to customers, resolving shipment-related concerns, and ensuring accurate communication and documentation throughout the logistics cycle. The ideal candidate is expected to be well-versed in handling logistics documentation, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Coordinate with clients to provide timely updates on shipment statuses and delivery timelines
Handle inquiries related to logistics processes, ensuring a helpful and professional response
Collaborate with internal departments to address customer requirements and ensure timely fulfillment
Prepare and manage logistics documentation including invoices, bills of lading, and shipping records
Track shipments and proactively resolve any delays, errors, or concerns reported by customers
Ensure service levels are maintained in line with company policies and client expectations
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, complaints, and actions taken
Support the logistics team in scheduling deliveries and pickups according to operational priorities
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience in a logistics or customer service role, preferably within a logistics company
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for effective client interactions
Knowledge of logistics software and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment
Attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer satisfaction
