The Customer Service Executive (Logistics) plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations by handling customer inquiries, coordinating shipments, and resolving logistics-related issues. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams, freight forwarders, and clients to provide timely updates and ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in logistics, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
handle customer inquiries related to shipping, tracking, and delivery schedules
coordinate with logistics providers, freight forwarders, and transport teams to ensure timely deliveries
process and manage customer orders, ensuring accuracy in documentation and system entries
monitor shipments and proactively communicate any delays or changes to customers
resolve customer complaints and logistics issues promptly to ensure service excellence
maintain and update records of shipments, invoices, and customer interactions
ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company policies
collaborate with sales and operations teams to streamline logistics processes and improve efficiency
analyze customer feedback and suggest improvements to enhance service quality
provide regular reports on customer service performance and key logistics metrics
Requirements:
bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a customer service role within the logistics or freight forwarding industry
strong understanding of international shipping procedures, customs regulations, and documentation requirements
excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach
proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite
ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
fluency in English; additional languages such as Arabic or Hindi are a plus
strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex logistics operations
