Job Description

The Customer Service Executive (Logistics) plays a vital role in ensuring smooth operations by handling customer inquiries, coordinating shipments, and resolving logistics-related issues. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams, freight forwarders, and clients to provide timely updates and ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in logistics, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

  • handle customer inquiries related to shipping, tracking, and delivery schedules

  • coordinate with logistics providers, freight forwarders, and transport teams to ensure timely deliveries

  • process and manage customer orders, ensuring accuracy in documentation and system entries

  • monitor shipments and proactively communicate any delays or changes to customers

  • resolve customer complaints and logistics issues promptly to ensure service excellence

  • maintain and update records of shipments, invoices, and customer interactions

  • ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company policies

  • collaborate with sales and operations teams to streamline logistics processes and improve efficiency

  • analyze customer feedback and suggest improvements to enhance service quality

  • provide regular reports on customer service performance and key logistics metrics


Requirements:

  • bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field

  • minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a customer service role within the logistics or freight forwarding industry

  • strong understanding of international shipping procedures, customs regulations, and documentation requirements

  • excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach

  • proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite

  • ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • fluency in English; additional languages such as Arabic or Hindi are a plus

  • strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex logistics operations
