CT-MRI Radiographer ( DHA Eligibility or License)

The CT/MRI Radiographer will be responsible for operating CT and MRI equipment, conducting imaging procedures, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. They will work with patients to ensure their comfort and safety during the procedure. The CT/MRI Radiographer must have a thorough understanding of radiographic techniques, patient positioning, and radiation safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for CT and MRI examinations, ensuring their understanding of the procedure.
• Position patients correctly to capture optimal images.
• Operate CT and MRI equipment to obtain high-quality images.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure patient safety during the procedure.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to determine the need for contrast agents.
• Monitor patients during the procedure and address any concerns or complications.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and image records.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow infection control procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• Valid DHA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CT/MRI Radiographer.
• Proficient in operating CT and MRI equipment.
• Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, anatomy, and radiation safety.
