CSSD Technician

We are seeking a skilled CSSD (Central Sterile Services Department) Technician to ensure the proper sterilization, maintenance, and distribution of medical instruments and equipment. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in infection control by following strict sterilization protocols.

Responsibilities:

• clean, sterilize, assemble, and distribute surgical instruments and medical equipment
• ensure all sterilization processes comply with hospital policies and infection control standards
• monitor and operate autoclaves, sterilizers, and other disinfection equipment
• inspect instruments for damage and report any defects for repair or replacement
• maintain accurate records of sterilization procedures and equipment maintenance
• follow strict hygiene and safety guidelines to prevent cross-contamination
• assist in managing inventory and restocking sterile supplies as needed
• collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely delivery of sterile instruments

Requirements:

• diploma or certification in sterilization techniques or healthcare-related field
• previous experience as a CSSD technician in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred
• knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection control procedures, and medical equipment handling
• familiarity with sterilization machines such as autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners
• strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• good communication and teamwork skills
