CSSD Technician

As a CSSD Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning, sterilizing, and packaging medical instruments and equipment. Your role will involve maintaining an organized and efficient workflow within the central sterile supply department. You will need to adhere to strict infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and medical staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleaning and disinfecting medical instruments and equipment
• Operating sterilization equipment
• Assembling and packaging instruments for surgical procedures
• Maintaining accurate records of sterilization processes
• Following infection control guidelines

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in sterile processing or CSSD preferred
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team
