Crane Operator

We are hiring a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to manage lifting operations at our UAE-based site. The ideal candidate will operate various types of cranes to move heavy materials and equipment efficiently and safely, adhering to operational and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate mobile, tower, overhead, or crawler cranes as per project requirements

• Perform pre-operational checks and ensure cranes are in safe working condition

• Maneuver loads to precise locations following hand signals, load charts, or site instructions

• Collaborate with riggers and site supervisors to ensure safe lifting practices

• Monitor crane operations to avoid overloading, structural stress, or unsafe conditions

• Maintain detailed logs of crane usage, maintenance, and safety checks

• Adhere to site safety procedures, traffic management plans, and PPE requirements

• Report equipment defects, near misses, and incidents to the supervisor promptly

• Participate in toolbox talks, safety drills, and routine crane inspections

• Assist with basic maintenance and ensure cleanliness of assigned equipment

  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus

• Valid UAE crane operator license (RTA/DM certified or equivalent as per crane type)

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience operating cranes in construction or industrial environments

• Strong knowledge of load capacities, safety procedures, and rigging techniques

• Ability to read and interpret load charts, safety symbols, and work instructions

• Good coordination, spatial awareness, and physical fitness

• Understanding of UAE labor and HSE regulations related to crane operations

• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and in outdoor/remote locations

• Basic spoken English required; knowledge of Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu is a plus
