This is a part-time remote role for a Course Developer at FoodTechSafety. The Course Developer will be responsible for curriculum development, instructional design, analytical skills, communication, and course development. The role involves creating engaging and interactive courses for professionals in the food safety and food science fields.
- Content Creation: Develop comprehensive course materials, including lesson plans, presentations, quizzes, and assignments, tailored for food safety, food technology, and related topics.
- Research: Conduct thorough research on current trends, best practices, and regulations in food safety and technology to ensure course content is accurate and up-to-date.
- Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and stakeholders to create engaging and effective courses.
- Digital Learning Design: Incorporate interactive elements such as videos, animations, and multimedia tools to enhance online learning experiences.
- Course Structuring: Develop modular course frameworks that facilitate self-paced and instructor-led learning, ensuring clear learning objectives.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Education, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in course development, instructional design, or a similar role, preferably in the food industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS), e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate), and multimedia editing software.
- Subject Knowledge: Strong understanding of food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000) and food technology principles.
- Instructional Design Expertise: Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and engagingly.
