Job Description

An IVF Consultant is a specialized medical professional responsible for diagnosing and treating fertility-related issues, guiding patients through assisted reproductive technologies, and overseeing in-vitro fertilization (IVF) procedures. This role requires expertise in reproductive medicine, patient counseling, and state-of-the-art fertility treatments. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of IVF protocols, hormonal treatments, and embryo transfer techniques while maintaining a compassionate approach toward patients.


Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat male and female infertility conditions using advanced reproductive techniques.

  • Develop personalized fertility treatment plans, including IVF, IUI, ICSI, and egg preservation.

  • Perform ovarian stimulation, egg retrieval, and embryo transfer procedures.

  • Monitor patient progress through ultrasounds, blood tests, and hormonal assessments.

  • Counsel patients on fertility options, treatment success rates, and potential risks.

  • Work closely with embryologists, nurses, and other medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

  • Ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory guidelines in fertility treatments.

  • Keep up-to-date with advancements in reproductive medicine and incorporate the latest techniques.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment progress.

  • Educate patients on lifestyle modifications that can improve fertility outcomes.


Requirements:

  • Medical degree (MD, MBBS) with specialization in reproductive medicine, obstetrics, or gynecology.

  • Board certification or fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility (preferred).

  • Proven experience in IVF treatments, fertility diagnosis, and assisted reproductive technology (ART).

  • Strong expertise in ovarian stimulation, embryo transfer, and hormonal therapies.

  • Excellent patient counseling and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment while providing compassionate care.

  • Knowledge of fertility preservation, donor egg programs, and genetic screening.

  • Commitment to staying updated on the latest research and technological advancements in reproductive medicine.
