Consultant - Cybersecurity

We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Consultant to provide expert advice on IT security strategies, risk management, and compliance. The ideal candidate will assess vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and develop cybersecurity frameworks for organizations. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex security concepts to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct security assessments and risk analysis to identify vulnerabilities in IT infrastructure.
• Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, frameworks, and best practices.
• Advise clients on security solutions, compliance requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Monitor networks and systems for potential threats and respond to security incidents.
• Perform penetration testing, security audits, and forensic investigations.
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
• Conduct security awareness training for employees and IT teams.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security controls into business operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity consulting or IT security roles.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection.
• Proficiency in penetration testing, incident response, and threat intelligence.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or OSCP (preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
