Job Description

As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and directing construction projects from start to finish. Your duties will include planning, budgeting, and scheduling projects, as well as ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. You will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the construction team, including contractors and subcontractors, to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety regulations. Strong communication skills are essential as you will need to liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Additionally, you will be responsible for obtaining necessary permits and licenses, managing project documentation, and resolving any issues that may arise during construction. A successful candidate will have a proven track record in construction project management, excellent leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of construction processes and techniques. A degree in construction management or a related field is typically required for this role.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule for construction projects.
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the construction process, including managing subcontractors and vendors.
  • Monitor and ensure project compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Act as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and government officials.
  • Manage project budgets and financials, including tracking expenses and making adjustments as needed.
  • Prepare and review project documentation, such as contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Communicate regularly with project team members to provide updates on project status and address any issues or concerns.
  • Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress, quality, and safety practices.
  • Identify and resolve any project delays, disputes, or other issues that may arise during construction.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the client.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
