The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing construction projects from inception to completion. They plan and coordinate all construction activities, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure that projects meet quality and safety standards. Responsibilities
Plan and manage all aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Provide leadership and direction to project teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to develop project plans and specifications.
Monitor project progress and ensure that work is being carried out according to plans and specifications.
Conduct regular site visits to address construction issues, resolve conflicts, and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
Review and approve contractor/subcontractor bids and proposals.
Coordinate and oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for construction projects.
Track project expenses and ensure that budgets are met.
Manage quality control processes and ensure that projects meet quality standards.
Prepare and present progress reports, updates, and recommendations to project stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Proven experience as a Construction Manager or similar role.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and processes.
Familiarity with construction software and project management tools.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Effective leadership and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans.
Knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines.
