Construction Manager - MEP

The Construction Manager - MEP will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for our projects. This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of projects by coordinating with the project team, subcontractors, and vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage all aspects of MEP systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection

- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets

- Review and approve MEP designs, shop drawings, and material submittals

- Monitor progress and quality of work to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications

- Coordinate with project team, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment

- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work in progress and address any issues that may arise

- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies

- Oversee commissioning and final inspections of MEP systems

- Manage change orders and negotiate contracts with subcontractors

- Prepare and present regular progress reports to clients and upper management

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on MEP systems

- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, building codes, and regulations

- Proven experience in managing large-scale commercial and industrial projects

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications

- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office

- PMP certification is a plus
