Job Description

The Commercial Manager is responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing activities of a company and ensuring the achievement of revenue goals. This role involves developing and implementing effective commercial strategies, managing key client relationships, and leading a team of sales professionals.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and explore potential markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals, setting clear goals and providing guidance and support.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, adjusting strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to ensure effective and efficient execution of commercial plans.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and development opportunities for team members.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management, providing updates on commercial activities and results.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a commercial or sales management role, ideally within the same industry.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound business decisions.
